UV fused silica glass has a wider spectral range (185nm-2.1μm) than K9 optical glass, it has excellent transmittance in the UV band, lower refractive index, better uniformity, smaller thermal expansion coefficient, higher chemical resistance and low fluorescence.

A-star optics provides flat windows on quartz substrates without coating and with antireflection coating. Antireflective coating options include UV(250-425 nm), VIS(350-700 nm), NIR(600-1100 nm), and SWIR(900-1700 nm).
