Non-Polarizing Cueb Beamsplitter

Non-Polarizing Cube Beamsplitter

Non-Polarizing Beamsplitter Cube These cubes split the energy with minimal polarization sensitivity. The polarization states are about the same for the entrance and exit beams.

Non-Polarizing Cube Beamsplitter
Consists of a pair of precision high tolerance right angle prisms cemented together with a metallic-dielectric coating on the hypotenuse of one of the prisms. The low polarization dependence of the metallic-dielectric coating allows the transmission and reflection for S- and P- polarization states to be within 5% of each other. This means that they will not change the state of polarization of the incident beam.
We offer both broadband and single wavelength non-polarizing cube beamsplitters (NPBS). An antireflective coating has been applied to each face of the beamsplitter in order to produce maximum transmission efficiency for the appropriate wavelength range.

Non-Polarizing Beamsplitter Cube
These cubes split the energy with minimal polarization sensitivity. The polarization states are about the same for the entrance and exit beams.
Broadband Non-Polarizing Beamsplitter Cube’s hybrid coating has certain absorption but minimal polarization sensitivity. Due to the metallic nature of the hybrid coating, those cubes are not intended for use with high powerlasers.

Polarizing Beamsplitter Cube
A polarizing beamsplitter cube consists of two right angle prisms cemented together. The hypotenuse face of one prism is coated with a special multilayer dielectric coating. When circularly polarized or natural light enter the cube vertically, it separated into two linearly polarized beams. The transmitted beam is P-polarized while the reflected beam is S-polarized.
And when a linearly polarized light come in, it similarly divided into two beams. But the energy ratio of the two outgoing beams is depending on the polarization of the incident beam. Polarizing beamsplitter cubes are available for many laser wavelengths and broadband ranges.

Standard Beamsplitter Cube
A Standard Beamsplitter Cube is independent of polarization. The incoming light should be: 45°linearly polarized, circularly polarized or natural light. The outgoing beams are two partially polarized beams of about the equal intensities.
