Electro-optical Crystals LiNbO3,Electro-optical Crystals β-BaB2O4 ,  Electro-optical Crystals KTiOPO4 or KTP

Electro-optical Crystals has been widely used for electro-optic modulators and electro-optic deflectors. In service section, we give a specific example of polarization scrambler. Electro Optic Crystal consists of two variable wave plates orientated at a 45 azimuth with each other. The variable wave plates could be LiNbO3 plates. Each wave pate has a maximum phase retardation of 2π. You will see the polarization evolution on Poincare sphere surface.
A-Star offer high quality beta-barium borate (β-BaB2O4), potassium titanyl phosphate (KTiOPO4 or KTP), lithium niobate (LiNbO3), potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KH2PO4 or KDP), lithium tantalite (LiTaO3) and lithium triborate (LiB3O5).

Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3) is widely used as electro-optic modulator and Q-switch for Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF and Ti:Sapphire lasers as well as modulator for fiber optics, etc. The transverse modulation is mostly employed for LiNbO3 crystal. The light propagates in z-axis direction and electrodes are applies to x faces.

Main Features
Large Electro-Optic (E-O) coefficients
Q-switches and modulator

BBO crystal is an excellent electrooptic crystal for high power applications at the wavelength range from 200nm to 2500nm
